Another House Move – Gladstone to Orange Creek

The Busby HR crew undertook Stage One of a two stage house move from Gladstone to Orange Creek, 141km away. The house had previously been loaded onto Busby’s massive hydraulic trailers in readiness for the move.

With all road permits in place and police and crew at the ready, the house began its journey down Lord St and through the streets of Gladstone on its journey to Orange Creek. Just over 2 hours later the house arrived at Orange Creek for placement onto the property. Local newspaper the Gladstone Observer was also on hand to witness the event, to do a story on the move and upload to their website with some great photos.

Two days later, the Busby crew went back to Gladstone to transport Stage 2. Once delivered the crew got to work on re-joining and restumping the house for the new owners.
