Ray Busby Snr – BHR Founder
Ray Busby founded this business from the ground up 30 years ago. Ray has a wealth of experience in building, demolition, asbestos removal and house moving. He is a licensed builder, and spent his life in the building and construction industry working throughout Queensland. Ray’s passion for moving homes saw the acquisition of Busby House Removal in 2011.
He has steadily built the Demolition & Asbestos, and House Removal businesses over the past three decades, but now due to ill health, he has taken a back seat and is semi-retired. Ray proudly hands over the reins to Adrian and the next generation of family joining the business.
Adrian Price – General Manager
As the General Manager of Busby’s, Adrian has extensive experience in the building industry in Central Queensland. Adrian oversees the day to day running of BHR from client consultation, estimating and quoting, safety and quality systems, staff management and supervision.
Adrian is a qualified builder and Property Valuer, and also qualified Demolition and Asbestos Supervisor.
Outside of work, Adrian doesn’t get much downtime with four girls waiting for him at home!
David Ryan – Accounts/Finance
David brings a wealth of experience to BHR, having worked in major construction companies in finance, in Australia and overseas – bringing together administration and operational functions of the business. He has a keen eye for detail and makes sure that our work not only ticks all the legislative boxes, but that there’s a clear procedure and plan to follow.
Outside the office, you might find David playing a game of golf, fishing or dabbling in forex trading.
Neville Gardner – House Removals Supervisor
Neville is in charge of preparing and successfully removing all houses that come through Busby’s – he is a hands-on supervisor with over 15 years of experience in all aspects of House Removal, from the application process to the restumped house on the new location. Neville’s experience means that the job gets done with excellence every time.
Julie-Anne Whitley – Administration Officer
Julie-Anne is sometimes the first voice you’ll speak to when you contact Busby’s – she’s the main office contact, the wrangler of paperwork and the distributor of any quote documents! Keeping things organised and calm is Julie-Anne’s specialty, and no matter what challenge comes her way, she’ll tackle it with a smile.
Outside the office, you’d find Julie-Anne tending to her garden, or off on a travel adventure with her husband.
