Patrick Busby - Operations Manager

Patrick has extensive experience in civil engineering and the building industry, and works closely with both House Removals, and Demolition and Asbestos in project management and estimating of jobs.  Patrick has worked all over Queensland predominantly in the private sector, with a wide range of experience also working in the mining industry, and for local and state government.  His experience ranges from working on million-dollar projects to local concreting jobs – no job is too big or too small.

To relax, Patrick enjoys all sports, fishing, cooking and travelling.

Todd Hansen - Demolition and Asbestos Manager

With 30 years experience in the building industry, we are excited to have Todd as part of our Busby team. Starting with a trade in carpentry, Todd has worked his way through the ranks throughout the decades. From Carpenter to Builder onto Superintendent and now our Manager of Demolition and Asbestos.

His experience ranges from million-dollar projects, start-up businesses to local building jobs. His enjoyment doesn’t depend on the dollar figure of the job but the company and crew around him.

In Todd’s limited spare time, you can find him coaching rugby league, pigging with his dogs and spending time with his family.

DeeAnn Busby - Marketing / Communications / Management

With a background in Journalism and Public Relations, DeeAnn looks after all business marketing and public relations affairs as well as Human Resources.

DeeAnn has worked largely in small business, but also larger corporate and government sectors, with a passion for working in Communications.

In her spare time (which is little!), DeeAnn loves the beach, reading, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.

Rebecca Eather - Finance Manager / Finance Administration

Since the young age of 15, Rebecca has been working in administration and finance. Throughout the years, she has worked in both the legal and construction industries. Rebecca is your go-to for anything finance, whilst also being the point of contact for everything demolition and asbestos administration-related.

She loves to spend her spare time with her family, her dogs at the beach and travelling overseas.

Isabella Wyman - Administration / Reception

Isabella is often the first friendly face you will see as you enter our office and the voice on the phone. Born and bred in Rockhampton, she has worked in a variety of different industries from construction, administration, hospitality and management.

In her spare time, she loves to be with her family, play sports and dig around in her garden.

Rick Keenan - Demolition and Asbestos Supervisor

Rick specialises in demolition and asbestos removal.

Early in Rick’s career, he worked for eight years in Canada and Alaska as a Driller for oil and gas. Returning to Australia, Rick drove semi’s for Woolworths from Townsville, to Adelaide, Melbourne and back to Townsville for six years.

Moving to Yeppoon, Rick has since worked primarily in civil contracting work.

Rick loves to hang out with family in his spare time, and sailing.

Glenn Grills - Demolition and Asbestos On-Site Supervisor

With 15 years in the construction industry, Glenn is our on-site Supervisor, managing our demolition and asbestos removals. He has run his own building business for seven years, prior to joining us here at Busby’s.

He spends his weekends watching football, shooting and with his family, not necessarily in that order.

Jacob Busby - House Removals Supervisor

Jacob had been with the Busby team for 6 years in a variety of roles whilst completing a Trade in Carpentry. He went on to travel around Australia for 12 months and has since returned as our House Removal Supervisor.

Jacob loves all sports, fishing & crabbing.
